Welcome New Members
It is a 2005 CLK 500 with 69k miles. It is beautiful. It is just like new. Seriously, if you saw it in person, you would be shocked at how it is in good shape. Interior, not even a single scratch or nothing damage, exteriors, only one small bump on the hood that is barely visible. Engine looks like brand new and could be mistaken for 20k miles. One owner and the owner was a doctor. You guys rock.
I also own a 2001 Porsche Boxster S and a 2013 Porsche Boxster RS (custom)
Well, hope to meet some people, get support and learn new things - helllearn everything I can about Mercedes Benz!
If anyone wants pics, let me know. I'll post in my sig when I get the chance.
I'm asking if anyone can recommend a good mechanic in the Northern Illinois/Southern Wisconsin area. Someone familiar with MBs and L1 Certified, if possible. I believe I need the rear bushings replaced on my baby.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey out there, I'm new to the site and was wondering if someone can help me with whats going on. When I started the car it said "STOP CAR TO LOW". When getting out to check what the problem was, I noticed that the front left side was 2 inches above the wheel, really low. I took a short drive to see if hitting the rise button located by the gear selector would help. It rose a bit, but not to normal hight. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and if so what was the cause and was it an reasonable fix or is it something that can be fixed myself by purchasing a part if needed. Thanks in advance.
My name is Rhoel and I bought a used 2003 C320 in 2011 with 75k miles and I love it. It has performed beyond expectations in this crappy winter we had here in Ohio (I'm in the Dayton area).
Now I have over 130k on it and am trying to keep it in good shape.

I'm a new member (refugee from another Mercedes forum). My cars are a 1997 SL500, 1992 400E and 2009 R350. Since the SL500 is my favorite, I'll mostly be hanging around the R129 Forum with occasional visits to W124 and W251.

So far I have given it a good clean followed by a clay bar all over (it was amazing how much crud was in the trim lines), followed by a polish.
The car will soon need a set of tyres all round as they are down to about 2mm tread, I am considering swapping them out for possibly a set of these

Hopefully some one a bit more knowledgable on all things MB can advise if they would fit?
Other plans are hopefully fitting a satnav headunit, not sure if I should go with a merc unit or go third party double din route (any advice gladly accepted).
Well thats my little hi and hello
kind regards Shanos

Have enjoyed and learned from this forum for the last few weeks. 10days ago found myself whip-sawed into suddenly owning a Mercedes. 05 CLK 320 w/94Kmi. Well loved by dainty 2nd owner for almost 7 years. Mars Red Coupe with Sport/Elegance pkgs. Pretty.
15yo Daughter and her Mom spotted it on wholesale part of the lot while I was visiting a BMW dealership. First car for kid to learn on.
Should be interesting as I am from the world of air-cooled Bugs, GM Iron, Toyotas, and most recently the wife's 2012 Lexus RX-350. Oh, this'll be fun.

Likely be posting on the w 209 thread and related.

So far I'm going through the usual car issues, the major one is the transmission issue but sense I got the car at such a great price not bad yet.
It looks like this site is awesome so I will continue to explore.
thank you.
