AMG55 in Oz
Just bought the AMG55 and love it!!!
I'd like to fit the brush guard and front/rear light grilles......anyone had any experience Down Under?
Even if parts could be obtained overseas, shipping cost would be horrendous.
Then there are the tariffs and duties imposed on us to protect our (non-existent) local industries........don't get me started!

I have had three Benzes.
A 1970 280 SL - which I should NEVER have sold.
A 1998 E 300 Turbodiesel.
A 2006 E 320 CDI Turbodiesel - my current ride. Bought it in 2009 with 21k miles. It now has 40k miles. I drive it gently and have had no problems whatever with the car. I get 38 MPG on the highway. 25 MPG in town - unless I stomp on it in town, when milage goes down to 20 MPG.

Hello everyone,
Daniel, from the suburbs of Houston. Recently purchased a 2006 E350 in great shape... just a few minor things to tweak... that and apparently a leaking Fuel Sending Unit (which is a well documented issue). Other than that, I really love the car.

I bought a used MB now it is badged as CLK 55 AMG and it is AMG ok but when you put the VIN number of the cars it shows up as a CLK 430?
Somebody told me when the 430 gets AMG package it is called CLK 55

Whats up all? Bought a CLK55 about a year and a half ago (widebody mod) and started redoing it. It had quite a few problems with body mods. So, I'm slowly doing stuff to it. As much as my little pockets allow. Its good to be here. Hope to make some type of contribution soon (info, diy or whatever).

Hello! Just Bought my CL600 Bi-Turbo yesterday! Live the UK but bought it in Northern Ireland, never driven anything quite like it! Quiet and easy going when you want it to be then you put your foot down and its like a bomb going off very happy!
I do have a few technical queries but I'll use the right section!

I am a new member from Sun Valley Idaho with a 1988 200,000+ miles runs great.
ML320 needs a drivers window regulator which I have but need encouragement to tackle the job. Not certain about removing door panels and replacing the regulator. Could really use some help.

Mark here... in Minnesota where the most recent ice age is making it no fun to drive my SL500. I've owned 3 Benzes now and have become a true believer. My first one was given to me by a client 6 years ago: a 1980 380sl with 50k miles on it. The 500's are much more fun.
