7g tronic 2008 c300
Hi everyone, recently just bought a 2008 c300 awd with 81,530 miles on it. I started reading about the transmission on the car an am a little worried. I was wondering if anyone knew about where you could buy used 7g tronic transmissions for my year or if they can be fixed without having to spend 7k on a new one?

Hi
My name is John,i just recently purchased a 2008 E63 AMG. I decided to join this forum after a while of just browsing through when i need it help lol. my E63 came with a set of 18" amg chrome wheels which i hate, the chrome was peeling and in some spots its completely missing,i decide to plasti dip them in gummetal gray for now. I love the how the car looks with dark/black wheels. My question is,can anyone point me in the right directions to where i can get a set of maybe OEM wheels or even aftermarket that look close to oem. thank you!

2012 C63 AMG Coupe P31, 2017 GLE 350
Just got my C63!
Hi everyone!
I got a 2013 C250 Sedan a couple of years ago and the lease expires in August.
Last September we got an 2015 ML350 for my wife.
We just LOVE the C250, and more generally the whole C Class range. Driving the Coupe really got me addicted to it... I knew I just HAD to splurge after spending the last 15 years on European buses and metros!
So last Sunday I went for it: got a 2012 C63 AMG Coupe P31!

Hello, my name is Imad, I am from Jordan and I do have two Mercedes Benz cars, the first one I bought on 2012, it is a 2010 W204 C200K Elegance, with 30'000 miles at that time "currently 54'000 miles", and the other one I just bought 2 days ago, it is a 1999 W220 S500L with 61'000 miles, both are silver color. I hope that I will find some useful information about maintaining both cars, although I still find it a little bit difficult to find out my way in the related forums, but I will do my best to familiarize my self with this great site although some guidance will be appreciated, thanks.

Hi all, been lurking for a while but finally registered.
I am based in the UK and have a 2002 S500L. Mechanically very good, body is starting to show a couple of the usual rust issues and will get that sorted before it takes hold.
Interior is pretty good and doesn't look like a 13 year old car.
It's got most of the options available except distronic and massage seats, and unusually it has 2 rear passenger trays, i say unusually as most i have looked at have either 1 or none.

Hello all
First post here from Dono. Have had 3 merc's on lease 2xC and 1xE, but never owned one. On Tuesday I satisfied a twenty year craving and took the plunge on a 2003 SL500 and have instantly fallen in love. Having bought the car I found some worrying comments deep in the paperwork, and having a day off work yesterday I took the car to a local garage with my list of what I'd found in the paperwork, and some common faults I'd found on here. I witnessed the inspection, and one by one we ticked off the items, most of which had either been repaired, or were not an issue. Fault history reviewed, and no residual faults. The only one that remains is excessive play in OSF shock lower ball joint, and while I know it's an expensive job, I couldn't be happier with the outcome. 😃😃
I've seen comments about the ball joint refurbished in Liverpool and will investigate that some more, but that can wait until the winter.Bit of rust on wheel arch getting repaired in 3 weeks (wasn't expecting rust?), 2 new tyres (while not illegal I want to match tread wear), oil the hood seals to hopefully stop the creaking, and she'll be top notch.
I live near Brentwood, Essex.
Cheers.

The SL (R230) forum is pretty active with lots of good discussion about issues that may arise. Also the SL55/63 AMG forum has a number of active members. They too will be a good source of help for you down the road if you have questions or issues.

New from the Rocky Mtn high desert
Just eliminated almost all my fleet, 2011 C300 Chrysler, 2008 Grand Cherokee, 1974 F150 4x4, and bought a MB ML350. Needed a nice towncar and a mountain climber with 4matic. A great auto, so far, not so great on mileage as the C300, faster and more agile than the GC. Oh and I kept my 88 Wrangler YJ for the dirt roads; don't want to get Benzie all muddy. Look forwar to years of driving pleasure, at 91 octane. Pictures will come later.

Finally in the right place?
Only took me two days to get this post right! Imagine the difficulty I will have ordering a C63s to replace my C55! I have joined to ask questions that dealers sometimes don't seem to have the answers for.
