2006 6spd C230 Sport
New Benz Owner From NYC
Hello everyone!
My name is Mark and I am from NYC (the Bronx). I am Albanian but was born and raised here in NYC. I just purchased my Benz yesterday off a very close friend. It's a black on black 2006 C230 sport in 6spd manual. It has 49k miles and I paid $5,500. My friend left today to go live in Europe and he wanted to get rid of his car right away. I offered him $5,000 and he was hesitant at first but finally agreed since we are good friends. I then offered him an extra $500 since I felt like I was low balling him. I paid him last night and received the title and key.
Anyway, the car runs great. The engine and tranny are strong. The car rides super smooth. The manual tranny makes this car. It doesn't have a powerful engine but the tranny gives it that fun factor. I have been driving it at least 2 days a week for the past 2 months and I fell in love with it. It has sat in a indoor garage for most of its life. My friend goes between America and Europe a lot and the car sits while he's out in Europe for 1-3 years at a time. I plan on getting it insured and registered next Friday. It's parked at another friends private property right now for the time being. I can't wait to get it on the road!

All these pics were while the my friend still had the car registered in his name. He let me take the car out a few times since I was going to be purchasing it. He has since removed the plates and now the car is sitting in a friends private parking lot until I get it registered next week.

Driving a clutch in NYC is an adventure. I remember getting stuck in traffic on the Cross Bronx Expressway in my old 4sp GTO. You're a real enthusiast.
