I'm back after 10 years!

So it's been almost 10 years since I've been on the forum. Sold my CLK55 back in 2009. Just bought my wife a 2015 GL450 (white with black), 36,045 miles and she loves it! I decided to jump back on the old MBWorld forum and read up on the GL and also search around for some extended warranty and A & B Service packages. In my younger days this forum really helped me when tuning my previous cars or just simple things like changing the battery in the keyfob. I am glad to see how much it has grown and that I can be apart of that community again!

Welcome back! Me too! I just rejoined after a five year hiatus! MISS dearly, my GL550! I suffer from Jeep and Benz loyalty disorder (its a real thing).
I too am shopping for A/B/A/B maintenance plan. The dealer wanted to charge $1900 - and I was already in sticker shock with the AMG purchase.

Thanks everyone for the kind words and welcome back 'docskippy' as well. Yea, I am overly impressed with GL so far. N-4Speed mentioned it has presence and I must say, that is a prefect description and it really does. I forgot how much of a pleasure it is driving a Mercedes and this car doesn't let you down. It has the Adaptive Damping System (ADS) option and I love that! I can manually move it to Sport Mode and everything stiffens up and it drives great at slightly than higher speed limit speeds!
It is my understanding that this was a custom order and the previous owner (original owner) was a MB Service Tech manager. If that is the case, he choose all of the right options. In additional to Premium package 01, and the ADS, there is also the lighting package (highly recommend) and the appearance package (which includes the 20" wheels and illuminated door sills). It also has driver assist package 997, park assist 996, 3-zone climate 581 and a bunch of other cool package options. Needless to say, I am starting to like this car more than my wife.
Anyway, thanks again! I checked our some of your cars in your signature. You guys have some very nice rides!
