Hello from Adam C....New E55 Owner.
Due to my father's passing a few month ago I inherited a 2001 E55 with 137k miles on it.
My father was the original purchaser and loved the car so I have decided to keep it and put it back to as pristine condition as possible with a few upgrades...

I have already learned much by lurking around the last couple of days so a big thank you to those that have previously posted such helpful info and to those who will post in the future.
Respectfully...
I've been pretty busy but finally got some time to start cleaning up the car.
I had the car thoroughly checked out and all in all it's in pretty good shape for having 138,00 miles.
I have been cleaning up the interior and now it looks like new. "Leather Rejuvenater " is a fantastic leather cleanse and treatment so it's highly recommended. It takes some work but well worth it.
There is some body work that needs to be done and of course lots of rock chips to be filled. It needs a bit of paintless dent repair in a few areas.
Valve Covers gaskets are next and then some suspension components. New floor mats etc., etc.....

So far I have done the following...:
Transmission Service
Oil & Filter Changed (Mobil 1 5W-40)
New idler pulley and serpentine belt
air filters
Wiper arm cover
Wheel bearing re-torgue
Cabin filters
Roof GPS base seal
The wheels need to be refinished and then it's new Michelins so If anyone has a recommendation on a wheel re-finisher in the Los Angeles area please let me know...!
Thanks...
