Just got myself a 2008 E280 amg sports package with 42k km on the odo. I am new to this forum but previously own a w210 E280 2001 model back in 2008. Had it for 4 years before selling it off for a VW Golf Gti Mk7.
Now need a bigger more comfy ride now that i have 2 kids and 1 wife
Prices have come down a lot here in Malaysia that it is a bargain. Just the cost of maintaining is quite pricey so i will try to be doing/sourcing some of the parts and jobs on my own. In fact i just bought and change my worn out wipers online for half the price compared to the dealer! That's a start right

To be honest i was keeping my options open between the E60 530i and this E280. Seen a few but all have been thrashed hard. When this came up it was easy to decide. Hopefully it will serve me well
Done 1000km in 2 weeks driving the car around making sure everyhing works. Did an oil change job, atf flush and change. Also got the door stopper rubber replaced due worn out.
Replace the front pads too with Pagid. Found it to be spewing more brake dust. Tires are new but a mix of dunlop and landsail. Will use them up b4 changing. Been getting 600 to 630km for every full tank of 65litres.. not too shabby
