New 2020 AMG GLC 63 Owner First Merc
Moving on to the GLC, it's a great, extremely fun car to drive. Definitely not as massive and luxurious as the S8, or as fast, yet, but it's still comfortable and truly drive like a car and not an SUV. My previous cars all had ZF tranny's, the GLC is my first dual clutch experience. Night and day difference. The ZF is honestly my favorite tranny due to the very smooth power delivery, and the ability to hold massive amounts of torques. The DCT gives you a more raw sports car experience and still getting used to it. The uodated tech vs my previous older Audi's is a wonderful treat. I'm still learning all of the functions and tricks to streamline the command operations since there are way less buttons vs most other cars, but I can see the advantage once I develop a good routine.
The only issues right now, even for a brand new car are the some common ones everyone's discussed already; crabbing at low speed full lock, and the sunroof squeak over rough bumps. I'll be feet it back the dealer soon to get them checked out. But other than those minor issues, what a blast to drive everyday. A lot more drive modes than the Audi's, and that exhaust button!!
Sorry for the ramble and no proper pics yet due the heavy rains lately in Cali, I will get some up as soon as she gets a bath.
I'm excited to join a new platform and share journey with everyone.
