New owner here. I've had my 2018 E400 4Matic coupe for 5 days & loving it so far. Hoping to learn a few things here. My only issues so far are my HVAC vents are lose, like they kinda just float in the dash & aren't connected. Also having issues with the MBrace app registering my car. The car feels great though. I'm liking it a lot more than my Audi A7.

As for the climate vents, are they all loose or one has a broken tab?

I appreciate it. 3 of the center vents are lose to the point that they just rotate in the dash. It's like they're disconnected from whatever givest them the resistance that holds them in a given position. If I angle one up, it just slides down, limp. They're still connected to where I can't just pull them out of the dash but move around as if they would come out easily.

 

I see, I understand then you need to use the pick tool linked in that thread to get it out, any wire automotive pick tool will do.

 

Thanks, I'm going to save this. I'm likely going to upgrade to the ambient light capable models & just find a shop to swap them.

 

Ah, I see enjoy the car, it is a great car and MB are not making any more E coupe and with a b-pillar-less design which are usually found on ultra luxury cars like Bentley coupes and Rolls-Royce coupes. The CLE is a thing but not the same...

 

CLE doesn't have a b-pillarless design... The CLE is a thing but not the same... hmmm that rhymed.
