1987 Volvo 240
Advice for potential W212 Wagon owner
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to drop in and say hi. Currently a Volvo 240 owner, and want to add to that a potential 14-16 W212 wagon. I currently work in engineering at MB, and think its time to official join the family after driving them for a few years.
If anyone can help point me to the correct forum location to ask for guidance, that would be appreciated. I have done a few pre purchase inspections already, and have the VMIs on hand with some videos/pictures from the mechanic. Unfortunately since W212 wagons are pretty rare in the states, the mileages are pretty high (80,000 mi +), but I can do my own work.
I recently did a manual swap on the 240.

Quite a few of us on here with 212 wagons. Oddly I also had a 240 wagon which happens stance was the best vehicle I have ever owned in my life. Almost 300,000 Miles when I gave that car away
