You are right- after 15 minutes of that nonsense the rears were down to cord and the fronts were as feathered as a birds wing. Makes for a nice eye popping shot though!

Heres one of the interior (it smelled like tire smoke for most of the next day).

Thats the short focal length of the lense giving you plenty of distortion. "Fisheyes" are about the only way to get every aquare inch of the interior in one shot- but they do distort.

Where do you guys get your silver carbon fiber trims? Is that something you guys sell seperately? Can you also fabricate a customer W210 silver carbon fiber hood?

We manufacture our own carbon trim pieces, and yes they are for sale. We do not make carbon fiber body panels.

No comment on the seat.....

Both pics look great. What tires were you using that feathered so bad. (When I was done with my pilot sports the fronts were feathered. None of that so far on my S-03s)

I want to do the two-tone leather but I want to do a dark, dull red leather for the inserts. I would also like to install the Sparco Milanos for the front though. KLEEMANN, what would be the tag on something like that?

The tires are Toyo Proxes T1-S. Normally they dont feather, but in this case with quite a few full lock powerslides they wore quickly.

I can quote you a price for the standard interior (using MBZ seats) but not Sparcos. $4000 installed.

If you want to re-cover the Sparcos I can recommend a good saddler who can make them match the KLEEMANN door panels etc, in CA. ,You will need the brakets to mate the seats to the MBZ floor points and you will loose the memory function (if your car is so equipped).

No the car is not so equiped. I wish you guys would open something up in the NYC metro area! Everything is in CA.

Is it best to install the Sparco's first or after?

You could do the Sparcos any time- it wouldnt effect the rest of the interior. We would provide the same materials for the custom Sparco covering as would be used in the rear seat, door panles etc. It would match perfectly. You can do it in any order.

haha-

I haven't put much thought otherwise into the interior. I will want to put a rollbar as a minimum, but I hadn't thought about it being red.

Red leather for the shift boot, and ***. I also want to do something with the brushed aluminum crap in the center console. KLEEMANN, do you have anything for the center dash?

Question- KLEEMANN do you track your cars with the airbags enabled?

Air bags always.

Center console is possible to do in carbon fiber etc. One off project- not so many requests from the CL203 for CF interior parts.

I cannot beleive you don't get more requests for CF from us lowly cl230 owners!!!

What would be the price / parts list? Console, interior door arm, interior handle pod, around the vents, handles for the compartments in the center console? Could a gauge pod be fabricated in place of the center channel speaker in way that would not render the channel/vent useless? Or for the A-arm pilar?

The idea of an airbag going off in my face at a track freaks me out.

4K is not bad for alcantara seats. what is the other leather? mastik or nappa? but that silver CF trim is damn expensive.
