Has anybody tried to put the panamera grill on a 15 - up S63 (S550 w/ amg bumpers same thing)

the porsche names carrera panamera come from the races across mexico which porsche and mercedes compete, in the 50s. The 300SL seemed to be the inspiration for the grille, and it had the same bars on the windshield for bird protection.
So they took the single bar with star off the grille of the 300SL 53 up and now the vertical bars off the 52 SL300

Not to be peckish, but what I was referring to is the name/word “Panamera” is a trademarked, recently made up word by Porsche for their vehicle. The historic race to which you are referring was the “Carrera PANAMERICA”. Mercedes refers to the grill in question only as the PANAMERICA grill, not Panamera.

To be clear, the current Mercedes-Benz grill with vertical slats is "Panamericana."

I need that bumper and grill in my life! Has anyone done it on the forums yet? That video wasn't super helpful. I'm curious if it's just a bumper and grill swap.

Absolutely, you'll be able to get a bumper online painted, and an aftermarket knockoff grille for much less. $12K my ***. I'm sure the big money folks on the forum might scoff at it, but a bumper is a bumper and a grille is a grille.

thats the one Ive seen, but it has a weird door, for the nite vision camera. Dont like it.
Do you still have the old one to sell?

I have a brand new complete facelift C217 kit for sale in Los Angeles. Kit includes front bumper w/ grille, rear OLED taillights w/ retro module, fender emblems, and rear diffuser. The bumper has been painted already, it's designo Magno Alanite Gray (Matte Finish)
Everything is located in Los Angeles ready to go.

that same one is on ebay. I think it is the one and only aftmkt available, just different dealers in china. Im affraid it wont fit because there is 2 different coupe bumpers and they dont differentiate
and I dont like the nite door.
