I just ordered a 2006 Z06 2LZ Lemans Blue, it should arrive mid-December.. so I will be giving the Acura to my oldest son who just started his residency.

The one on the right. It is a lot more fun to drive than the W140 but doesn't even come close to the grand feeling of the W140.

Hi leloz
My W140 has been my daily driver for a long time , because I just love to be in the car.
As my Baby is " under construction" for the last months I use my other cars.
I use a SEAT Altea as a daily driver now , and I also have an 1996 Audi A8 3.7 Quattro.
Beside them I got a Toyota HIACE Van 2.4 Diesel and an OPEL/ Vauxhall Astra Van which are used for transporting workers.
I travel a lot in Europe , because with some of my friends we import used cars from Western Europe, and I'm driving at least 2000 miles every week in different cars .
I drove almost every car that can be bought in Europe(Except the Exotics e.g : Ferraris, Bentleys ... )
BUT! W140 Rules!!

It's actually a 530i M Sport, no V8 for me...

W140 was, and still is, a daily driver. However, also had an Acura TL Type S, Grand Cherokee Limited, Nissan 240SX, old Miata as other means of transportation. Funny though, I actually enjoy driving the 240SX the most.

My 97 S-320 is my daily driver, here are my other drivers for nice days.

1970 GS 455 Convertible, 1970 GSX Stage 1 4 speed. and 1969 GS 400 Convertible. Nothing like the power of a big block!

cjp69 and leloz, i like both your amg rims very much. can you tell me what they are called and the size. May i ask where you bought it and how much?

Thanks. They are the Bright Silver finish AMG 220 5 spoke wheels found on the w220 S55 up to 2002. The front are 18X8.5 and the rears are 18X9.5, ~2 inch lip on the rear wheels. I bought mine from my MB dealership, they were brand new factory take-offs, I paid around $2500 with tires

I guess that is what mine are called, but I have no idea, I just like them. they are also 18 x 8.5 and 18 x 9.5. I bought the rims used ( from this board or another Mercedes board, I can't remember) and then bought new tires. I think the rims were around $500 and the tires about $900 - $1000, so about $1,500 total. But Leloz's are nicer, as his were new!
