Goodyear Eagle F1's are excellent tires

I think the F1s are as good as, if not better than, anything currently on the market!

Does it matter?
Michelin PS2's. Be Aware, whatever tire you decide on, make sure you get the XL load tire. W220's are very heavy cars and despite the treadwear ratings, weight plays a major role. If they are not weight rated for your car, you might wear through them in no time at all. Also, check with Luke or read the reviews at tirerack. Good luck

AMG E55, Stage 1, Strait Pipe from Primary Cats
I have ran Dunlop SP9000'S,< very noisy) NITTO 555'S and Current TOYO TR1'S and I must say that the TOYOS rock and they are less then the NITTO'S !! which I also like alot and by the the way TOYO and NITTO are the same manufacturer. The TOYO TR1 is a brand new very aggressive tread design and has a more rounded track better suited for bigger meats on dropped rides for less rubbing issuses,It is a *** great tire ! Best by far for the $... The Nitto has a more square track and has been around for long while and is great. You cannot go wrong with Toyo or Nitto and you will save alot of cash for other mods on your S ? If you have a High performance SL OR CL OR E55 Than the Michelin PS2 might be worth a look but you will never catch me blowing twice the amount on something that is not even close to being twice as good period. As I go to the bank

Michelin tires are the best, and PS2 are at the top of that mark. Many don't agree with me or think the price justifies the performance but I also like the MXM4's.. and I like their profile better too.

Yes this is true that the PS2's have a wider track. They are definitely wider because of the squared-off sidewall. I had to do a bit of fenderwell work to get these baby's to fit. Toyo's and Nitto's have a more rounded sidewall which allows for more clearance.
