Arrow Lorinser LM5's - 20" - Your Opinions

So I am just about done with my stock star rims... I want something cooler plus I am trying to get away from the whole "why are you driving your dad's car" verbage...

I am thinking about picking up a set of Lorinser LM5's in a 20x8.5fr/20x9.5rr setup.

I am also getting a Brabus lowering module to lower the Airmatic suspension.

Can you guys please recommend the tires that should go on these rims?

are what you need for the 20" setup. Feel free to PM me if you have any question!

I still think 20s are an inch too big on just about any Mercedes. But yes, lowering the car is a must, esp. with new wheels.

This tire is not the best...it's loud and hard, not very comfy. They are pretty cheap though...which explains the problems. I use Michelin PS2. I think they are the best all around tire money can buy. They may not be the most quiet. They may not be the most comfy. They may not be the best in the wet. The may not be the best in longevity. Their strength is they do everything well. That's why every dealer who is honest says they are the best.

They are pricey so if cost is an issue, I also like Yokohama's.

is the brabus lowering module cheaper than the renntech module?

about the tire sizes, what wheelauto recommended should be perfect.

Check this out! He's got 2: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/RENNt...spagenameZWDVW

$1,000... that's dirt cheap.

How big are the rims on your S320?

my setup is 20x8.5 up front and 20x10 at the rear.

but $1000 seems pretty reasonable compared to $1195 that they're offering on the renntech website.

perhaps that seller know some people over in renntech? seems like he has had pretty good feedbacks.

The Nittos' are great and the Toyo T1-R to. PS-2 over priced and over rated in my opinion.. You can do a search here on that.. tons of debate on it. Here is a pic when I had 20"s on my car with the washer drop.. Do not waste your money on a module.

I run Nitto NT555, and yes Nitto is little bit louder. I don't know about the "hard" part since all cars I've had have low profile tires, so it doesn't make any difference. But I think Nittos are good tires.....IMO and cheap too.
