I had to get a rear strut for my W220 from Arnotts and its fine actually built better than OEM IMO. Plus they give a lifetime warranty. I don't know about Rover Renovations. Plus Arnotts is in FL you'll have next day.

yes, but arnott offers a lifetime warranty, which rover doesn't.

If your pump, lines, and block are all OK; you will be more than pleased with remanufactured Arnott replacements. They look to be of superior quality compared to the original design but time will be the judge of that estimation.

My experience with pump failure was pretty comical. "Hey, I've never heard that little pump before" turned into "it seems to be getting louder" which quickly tuned into " who the hell put a buzz saw under my hood." It certainly has other failure modes and I do not know whether it is a piston or diaphragm pump but either type can leak internally with no outward signs.

I have never had valve block failure so I can't give any account of what may tip you off with that one.

I recently bought an arnott replacement strut to fix a blown front passenger side strut. But I still notice my car drops when I turn it off, and raises when I start it back up. I've done the soapy water test, and of course replaced a blown strut, What other steps should I take to find if I have a leak before this pump goes out?
