Complete Nightmare Effect Of Drinking And Driving!

I went out saturday night got too drunk, blacked out, hit a curb taking a turn with both front and rear wheels, completely threw off my alignment, now suspension in rear is sagging, my passenger side wheels are both messed up and scratched and bent, and the guy at the alignment says my rear knuckle and bearing are both messed up, im taking it to dealer to get it inspected cause i suspect other things are wrong, i also hear a very loud fan like noise coming from suspension. what else do you guys think might be wrong, also alignment is way off steering wheel all the way to left car pulls to the right!!!!!!DONT DRINK AND DRIVE!!!!!luckily i didnt get a DUI or kill someone or myself!!!

For some people, blackouts are a sign that drinking days need to be over. If you make that decision, sell the car and begin anew, no matter how nicely you've fixed it. Just my opinion.

This is a wake up call sir

Just imagine if you would have killed someone, and you couldn't even remeber. Time to hide the keys, or QUIT DRINKING. God bless, and time to start re-evaulateing your habbits my freind.

See yeah

PS: Took ALOT of courage posting it, now have the courage to do something about it

He is expressing to others, what most of you already have expressed to him.

It is not ok to get hammered and drive.

I think that is his real message.

I'm sorry, but are you ****ing kidding me.

Your excuse for driving drunk was that you were super drunk?

I don't care why the hell you made this post. You deserve every single insult thrown at you and more. Not only were you drunk, you were passing out drunk. You have got to be one of the stupidest, most irresponsible, and luckiest person I've had the displeasure of conversing with.

And the biggest joke is that you tell someone else to grow up! Take your own advice you ****ing moron.

Oh, and your thread title is also bull****. You banged up some suspension components. Hardly a nightmare if you consider you could have easily killed someone's entire family with your stupidity. Now that would be a nightmare.

I can't understand why people post confessions of illegal and irresponsible activities on a public forum.

Hopefully, this will be a wake up call for you, and you realize that you lucked out. If you are drinking and passing out, this could be a symptom of some deeper challenges. Where were your friends, and why didn't someone just take your keys or call you a cab?

We have all done things that we regret. Some don't get a second chance. Hopefully this was a lesson learned.

I find it amazing that you try to excuse yourself from it, and that excuse was you were 'super drunk'.

I lost a good school friend, who was in his early 20s, to a drunk driving idiot like yourself. Be damn lucky your version of a nightmare didn't involve another car and/or bodybags.

Because they are as stupid as their actions?

You start a thread saying you were DUI and not expect us to judge? I'm surprised the members are going easy on you. You're brave... If I did something like that I would leave out the part where I was drunk and hit the curb before I make a thread like this.

You are looking at a minimum of $2000 repair cost.

Thank you for hitting a curb and not a human being....or even a house lol
Common occurrence of course. If I may ask, how many times have you sat behind a wheel while being intoxicated. Please, drink at your enjoyment, but have control of yourself. Thankfully, you are not facing jail time, court fines, lawyer fees, a drug driver program mandate, a substance abuse assessment and your car impounded until you complete it.... b/c this is what happens to most of DWIers. Recently they're made the drug driving laws much harsher and authorities are taking it much more seriously nowadays . You are really lucky! You are really lucky also not to face probation or even manslaughter charges. Please think before getting behind a wheel. Luckily you didnt have to learn the hard way. BUt the unfortunate thing is many people do. Make sure for future reference, you are not one of them

After all, we learn best on our own mistakes, dont ya think?

Well thanks be to God you did not kill anyone or harm anyone. I am not going to talk about you being stupid because you know what you did and for us to yell at you is only beating a dead horse. Just learn from your very very lucky no harm to human kind mistake and think of it as a wake up call. As far as the damage goes. Well its going to cost you a lot of money and your car will be tied up for a long time. I hope its not your only car?
