My Comand 16x9 facelift retrofit on my S55 AMG.

I see the CD Changer goes to 2.0 2003 COMAND (looks like the 7 & 8 pin on the C1, or the bottom right + - for power from the CDC). My question is where are those + - power for the CDC on the back of the 2002 2.5 + - CDC power located so I can bring them into the C1 for the 2.0 CDC location on the C1 harness. Might you know where they are located on my 2002 S430 2.5 COMAND, please?

Hi I have fitted the upgrade comand to my 2000 s500 and changed pins now I got sound, cd changer, telephone, radio, all to work but stereo won't come on with ignition or go of when key is turned off, I also have no lights on comand buttons at night and steering controls don't work, I'm aware that I need speed control converter which I'm in process of ordering for sat nav but does any one know what I have not done thanks in advance

I am in Los Angeles Ca and boy are people not helpful, including BENZ dealer. Everyone is so afraid of being sued that they dodge questions so that will not take any responsibility, ouch. If you might know where the + - power wires are for the CD Changer on my 2002 S430 2.5 Comand unit, that's all I need. If you or anyone out there can help... great!

Connectıon adapter for Original GPS versus new GPS
Hi, I am gearing towards to do this and start collecting from eBay
Question for GPS Antenna
-------------------------
I would like to use original GPS instead of aftermarket purchase. Trying to install and run cables through fittings is too intrusive.
If I make or buy an adapter cable to fit the GPS connector for COMAND 2.5 to COMAND 2.0. Would it work ?
CRC9 (or MCX. Whatever the original connector) to HRS GT5-1S grey connector. It would cost the same but it will be cleaner.
On all these discussions nobody mentioned if it was a connector problem or old Antenna is somehow not compatible with COMAND 2.0 other than the connector
Question for Speed Converter
--------------------
There are 6 cables on the speed converter. Ground and 12V is obvious. Remaining four is inline for Canbus HI and Canbus Lo.
So you cut the harness one goes to the connector side the other goes to the CANBUS for each. 4 cables
Color Coding is on the device for two. In or out part is not clear
Can Lo - To C2 Connector Pin 8- What Color is connected from the speed converter ? Blue or Blue-Black Striped
Can Lo - On the Harness White cable - Which color is connected from the Speed Converter ? Blue or Blue-Black Striped
Can Hi - To C2 Connector Pin 9 Green Cable - What color is connected from the speed converter ? Yellow or Yellow-Black Striped
Can Hi - On the Harness - Which color is connected from the speed converter ? Yellow or Yellow-Black Striped
This question is asked many times, I haven't seen this answered or described in a write up. If anybody knows, I would be glad. Trial and error doesn't sound good in this case
Thanks,

Before the swap..
Old AC console..
First remove this tray...
Then just losen the center panel softly..
Take out the old Comand..Trim the inside panel a bit..
Move some pins in the C2 conector and add the speed signal adapter, gps antenna and put the new Comand and wood palens in place..
Mount the new AC panel with matching chrome rings..Plug n play..
All in place..All working..
New AC with the chromerings..
What you think od the swap in my S55 AMG ?? (The AMG emblem is removed now.) I just LOVE the swap and HATE the old look...

Is it possible to upgrade any further?
This makes me wonder if it possible to upgrade any further from comand 2.5 to whatever would be newer and compatible.
