Fog or day time running lights

It depends what year and bumper you have. I have added daytime running lights (LED) into the 2 holes below the headlights (see picture added) Fog lights are already part of the headlight assembly. The DRL are always on as long as neither the parklights or low beam is on. As soon as one of the two is on the DRL are off. I bought them from an E*** dealer in Germany and "fiddled" them into the holes by adding a little support and a cut out in the screened covers.
I did not find any fog or day time running lights which would fit flush into the holes.

Well Bamberger-1 You Did A Great Job The Lights Look Good Down There
Who Was The Maker Of The Lights Or The Manufacture ?
What Did You Hook Them Up To ? Did You Ground The 2 Wires Then Splice The Hot Wires Into The DRL ??

Thanks

Unfortunately I threw away all the cartons and diagrams. But interesting is that they had all the necessary relays built-in. I total 3 wires: 1=ground; 2= 12V from Ignition; 3=to be hooked up to one of the parking lights. As soon as you start the car the DRL go on, and as soon as you are switching to either park or low beam the DRL go off. This is necessary because in most European countries you are not allowed to have the DRL on while the headlights are on. This was the supplier in Germany: (See attachment)
Email: info@topauto.com
Web: www.topauto.com
and this the part number LED Tagfahrleuchten UN100006

May be this can help. Attached a diagram how to hook up DRL, but as I said the light I have had the relay incorporated already, but this sketch shows you the function on page 2 the rest is German bla bla

I don't get what Yanfeng is saying here???????? It appears he can supply parking light replacement bulbs in LED technology and various socket types. What he's trying to say by CANBUS .... doesn't tell me anything. I have replaced my parking light by LED's but the regular "Warning Canceler" won't work in a W220 or most MB cars, you need to add sufficient resistors to "trick" the defective bulb function warning system.

LED DRL IN '04 W220 S.

Hi. This is my first post and I would very much appreciate some help from you good people.
It concerns removing the lower grills so as to fit the drls'. I read something on one forum, where it was said that they just needed to be pulled sharply.
That was true with the o/s (r/h drive car) but the n/s seems to be fixed solidly.
Is it necessary to remove the bottom engine floor, so as to be able to get at the fixing?
Thanks in advance.
