I have a question,.,..my transmission just died in my 2000 s430 and I will be getting one from a 2002 s430 to swap in from another MbWorld member

Will this be a direct swap that is "plug and play" or will I need to take the car to a Mercedes dealer for reprogramming?

I thought you said that you dont install customer supplied parts??

Make sure you get the ECMs for his transmission and engine too......

We could assist with any questions or concerns, not actually performing the install in this scenario.
