At first I thought this was just spray paint. All left bank is dead codes:

p0300 plus P03070 through P0312. No other codes. I thought it first was the power supply but now I'm thinking this paint ain't spray paint at all.

So what happened ? Did you replace the coil ? I did not see anything wrong with that at all.

4mercedes sells rebuilt coils on ebay for about 1/2 the price of parts.com. Watch out on the diagnosis, though, as the power supply can also be the problem and put the car in limp mode, at which point it won't show the power supply as at fault because the computer has shut it down. So you don't know whether the power supply caused the shutdown or the coil pack.

4mercedes are pretty good guys but they are often busy and days can tick by if you have a problem and that can be incredibly frustrating. Still, in the end they have always come through. Nicole manages the retail side and she's absolutely great. She doesn't have the mechanical expertise but she works hard to get you what you need from the guy that does. That guy is very very knowledgeable on v12s but without Nicole ...

i can give you negative comments on 4mercedes also. bought a coilpack worked for 2 months threw codes again and again misfiring all cylinders, called them, e mailed them numerous times, filed a complaint with BBB no response from them period. they do not honor their 2 year warranty and will not help you once they have your money. they are slow, lazy and unappreciative of your business the customer. I am now going to file with consumer affairs in FL.

I'm not standing up for those guys by all means, but show me a similar company that doesn't have a dissatisfied customer. You know what they say, There's "your" story, "his" story and the truth.

But either way, thanks for the heads up. I wasn't planning on doing business with them, but it's good info to know.
