2k car.... That hurts.....


And my wife wonders why I wont get a newer car or drive the CLS. Other than a newer S class, there's nothing as nice and comfortable than the w220 without spending $50k+


Maybe a Maserati quatroporte 08-12 model.... Hmmmm

Geez, he has the AMG badge but doesn't even have the body kit. It looks like something you might run past in the middle of no man's land.

My buddy is a Mercedes mechanic and owns a few of these cars and bought an 08 Quatroporte and it was the worst ever on expenses.

I looked around and they are quite affordable for a 2008-2010. What kind of problems did he have?

I'd have to ask him but I know he bought another MB for a daily because of how expensive the maintenance was. I guess the parts were a lot more money.

Since the Maserati is not as popular as Mercedes or BMW, no one will make aftermarket parts that cheaper than OEM one. If I have to buy every parts from my Mercedes dealer, I don't know how long I can keep my 2005 S600 with 130k miles. because that is the time you need to spend a lot of money to keep it running right !! ( ABC system, Coil pack, spark plug....just name a few !)

W220 parts are plentiful and for the most part, can be found used for super cheap in eBay
