Stuck crank pulley bolt on m275

I'm trying to get my m275 crank pulley bolt off but it's impossible right now. I finally found a counter holder that would fit (after some filing) and used a 5ft breaker bar and my entire weight (155 lb). My socket extension just snapped and now I have a hole on my AC condenser too.

Would prefer not to take entire front end off.

Any tips or ideas?

Other than a bigger bar and extension, it sounds like you are doing it right. If the counterholder is doing it's job, just put a longer handle on the bar (piece of pipe, jack handle, etc), and go for it. Try not to break the fenders

I broke 2 1/2 drive tools. Ordered a 3/4 inch socket so let's see how that goes. I have a floor mat protecting the fender :-)

Pics of carnage coming once I'm home.

Name brand tools or cheap junk? Makes a difference.

I've seen one snap-on breaker bar break, it twisted the end off. Had about an 8' extension pipe on it, with a 250lb person jumping up and down on it.

Craftsman + a no-name breaker bar

I just ordered a snap-on 1/2 in breaker bar. Hopefully that'll be enough.

Get the Husky breaker bar from Home Depot. It worked for me.

The 1/2" equipment might not be enough. I had the same problem on a Porsche 928 crank pulley. I snapped a Craftsman 1/2" short extension bar in the center. I could feel the extension and pull handle flexing before it broke. I used a 3/4" drive socket, extension and pull handle, and the bolt moved with no problem.
