Water collecting on wiper cowl

I've searched and come up short with this odd issue. After a rain or wash, water collects in the center of the plastic cowl trim, between the wipers. It looks like the area is perforated to allow draining, but I've poked and prodded to see if there is a blockage I can break loose but no luck. Does anyone know if it really does drain and, if so, where the openings are located?

I didn't think it would be this complicated. 😕 Do you have an answer?

I wouldn't worry about this one. its not flooding into the fuse box

does it bend? maybe jam something underneath or bend it if possible? thinking outside of box here

I personally cringe at thought of leaving my w220 in the rain. with the eco friendly paint and all and possibly leaky trunk area where the amp sits

Yes I do.
After you posted the picture highlighting your problem, I poured water in the same place and can report it drained immediately. The perforation you found is the drain...how to clear it is less evident except by use of thin wire.
You could use compressed air to blow it...or a vacuum cleaber to suck it.
Good luck.
