FYI on TireRack.com

Just saw that TireRack.com finally has an actual picture of an S550 to see wheels on.

Yep, those Zinik wheels look sweet!

Sorry...not to thrilled with any of them. The standard 18" 9 spoke still looks good to me...maybe a 19" would look somewhat more appropriate for the large wells but I'm happy with the 18's.

BTW...have you checked your build date. Greg called me Friday and said mine was moved to 1st Decade in May with deliver by mid-June. It's a difference of about 7-10 days. I told him to keep me advised but I am hanging in there.

A couple of opinions.....

It's amazing how all of the wheels that we loved on the W220 now look so "dated" on the W221. More amazing is how good those shiny, chrome plated 20" Zinik's look ! Help ! I better stop, before I order some Lexani's!

I agree entirely.

And also relevantly, large wheels look really goofy when the brake discs don't fill them up which is why in my 30 years of car ownership I have always been reluctant to do bigtime upsizing.
