This is definately one of the better body kits for the S-Class that I have seen so far.




The aerodynamic front already familiar from the well-known ART Program 221 has now been reproduced in Nuremberg in the more strongly accentuated SPORTLINE version. A successful collaboration of parallel projecting lines, optimally placed air inlets, distinctive cut-outs and sophisticated supplementary headlamps now define the appearance of the basic S-Class. It has unmistakably answered the call for raw sports appeal and racy contours, its exterior offering more than a hint of what you will find under the hood. So much of its design is borrowed from nothing less than the successful GTR sports vehicle from ART.

With this distinct sportive design line, ART is responding to broadly pitched demands from the international S-Class community who seek the very best in comfort and sports flair for their vehicles.

The side skirts and rear skirts are identical in both the AVANTGARDE and the SPORTLINE lines. The same goes for the headlamp equipment. The technical advantage of both the SPORTLINE and the AVANTGARDE components is production using the MG Compound method. This entails deep-drawing the fiber-glass reinforced plastic laminate under vacuum conditions. The contours are CNC-machined. This innovative technology offers precisely definable and constant material strengths with precision fitting.

ummmm....sry i disagree. I think it loooks too much like a Lorinser to like it. Maybe if it didnt have the double lip on the front spoiler.

The ART bodykit looks nothing like the Lorinser, the Lorinser is ugly IMO compared to that kit. The ART Body kit has about as much in common with Lorinser as the Lorinser has in common with the AMG body kit (ie: nothing). If anything the ART front has more in common with the AMG front than Lorinser.

Better than Lorinser, but I don't like that verticla vent on the side of the front spoiler. Looks like a gill on a fish or something.

the "gill" is one thing i do like cuz it looks like the F1 package.....although it's a bit bigger i think.

I believe the one you posted is called the AVANTGARDE body kit, and the one I posted is the SPORTLINE body kit. It appears they offer both.

I'm young and into modding and all that junk. I think this body kit is ridiculously hot but I could see why a lot of people don't like it.

I love tuning for increased performance and do it to all my cars but these "body kits" look to much like a throwback to the 80's,lots of show and no go...
