Anyone interested in sending there car to SEMA... Myself and a friend are setting up a booth for a wheel company and hope to have an all mercedes showcase, currently we have an 06 SL55, 06 E500, 06 ML350, and an 01 C240.

Thanks Jay...what do I get for a loaner...and even though I live here I would want to stay at the Bellagio (all expenses paid of course) plus a small ($1K) stake in the casino. If offered I might consider it...:-)

Yeah J...stock AMG kit with 19's...might draw some attention against all the 20-26 inchers and wild body kits that will abound there.

Maybe you can get a package like I proposed above to bring your S to LV for the week...of course the black would not have the impact of the Burnt Orange and Lime Green show cars...would you be willing to add some pink accents...:-)

I have a Capri Blue S550 Sport with grey interior and most options. Wheels are staggered HRE 22 inch 643R's with a silver face and polished lip. The car has also been lowered with a Carlsson lowering module.

Currently, I am working on the headreast monitors for rear passengers and I have already ordered the factory TV tuner (hopefully I can activate the features with the Star Diagnosis Equipment because it's pricey and have already ordered it too). Soon after, due to the nature of my business and the amount of time I spend on the road I will finish the mobile office setup which will include a printer and broadband cellular internet access point to be located in the trunk. And then finally the rear fold down tables.

I can post pictures if you'd like.

If it seems like what you are looking for, then all I'm asking for are:
1. Fuel cost from San Francisco, CA and back.
2. Detailing or cleaning cost for preparation prior to the show.
3. I would like my company stickers on the upper and lower portion of the rear window to be left on (I really need exposure, mortgage (most states but specialing in CA and NV) and real estate (CA) brokerage).
4. Tickets to get in (I believe in personalization and but would like to see other products out there).

What do you think? The car is simple but then again everybody has their own taste. I believe in form and function while trying to retain the original qualities and intentions of the vehicle manufacturer.

He wanted you to pay for gas to deliver the car TO YOU and tickets to get into the show while you're using HIS car. What financial gain are you talking about? He didnt ask u for money.

If you think he's trying to make a buck off you then save your buck and go rent one.

It's amazing people coming on here not only asking for help but expect it all to be at the expense of the donor.

Lighten up a bit please. No offense was meant and I apologize if any was taken. This is not a "please let us use your car" request. This is a "if you would like your car and the work you have put into it recognized with exposure at an international level, we have a psotion for your car that can make it happen" offer. This means nothing to next-to-nothing to those who have no interest in the show car scene, but is an extremely valuable opportunity to those who are.

This is actually funny becuase today I recived a call from the manager of the Mercedes dealor that I'm going through to buy this new automobile, and he said that my car is being pushed back until somehwere in early November, it did not make me the happiest man alive but its alright to have to wait for great things.

Sorry to hear that but the new ones all seem to be "pushed back." I think MB miscalculated when they released the 221 as early as they did.
