Foot well lighting

Does the S have lit foot wells?

I recently noticed (at least mine) that it dosen't. My ambient lighting strips seem to work well.

Is there any way I could have turned this feature accidentally off?

Anywho, the car is going in for it's 1 year service at the end of the month. Will bring this up with the service advisor if I am missing this

Thanks in advance.

I'm thinking it may be connected to the brightness of the instrument cluster or comand system. I'll check it tonight and let you know.

Pressing the button to the right of the SOS button on the overhead console turns the footwell lighting on and off.

I'm fairly certain this is your problem.

It seems to control the Courtesy lighting which is defined in the manual as follows:

Courtesy lighting
For better orientation the inside door handles
(depending on vehicle production
date), the driver and passenger footwells
and the center console are illuminated in
the dark.

Just tried it.

The button to the right of the SOS button does turn the footwell lighting on/ off.
