![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I am looking for a mercedes 2007 s550 and found one that I am very interested in. I noticed that it has a antenna on the trunck lid. It also had the OEM antenna on the roof.
Does anyone know what this is ???

What's the difference between the flat one on the trunk and the fin shaped antenna on the trunk? I know the very first w221 delivered had the fin shaped on the trunk while the later ones (maybe up to 9/06) had the flat square shaped.

Can you have the flat trunk lid antenna removed and replace the roof antenna to incoporate the tech ....
Does the trunk lid antenna bother anyone. I really do not like the way it looks

It must be possible but quite a lot of work with the wiring rerouted. And how about the hole left on the trunk if the trunk antenna is removed? Is it any better with some cover plate, a new trunk lid is a bit expensive considering how much it improves the looks.

Could you post a picture of the dual antenna? I've never seen (or heard of) it before! Would be really interesting and most appreciated!
