oil change VS service A
I have 6000 miles on the clock and 28 days to go for my 1 year anniv called park place and spoke to the serv adv on what needs to be done. He suggested to just go ahead and do the oil change ($120) instead of Service A which runs over $300, since I have low miles.
what do U all think. $120 just for an oil change....

inspect tires adjust tire pressure brake inspection fluid check washer solvent check. I don't know what the difference is really I am sure the tech would do this on just a oil change as well.

Guys. You own an S. A new one. You must have brains.
Read your service manual. Look what it says.
I forget which service item says "look for paint defects". Don't tell me you do not do this every time you or someone else washes or waxes your car. Don't pay someone for stuff you just don't need.
The 63 engine uses a standard drain method. Pep Boys now carries the 5W-40 Mobil1 ESP Formula M. Show up with the right oil filter and they can do it.
Personally. I like putting a little "skin" into my car, so I do all my own maintenance. The first maint I will have the stealer do is the transmission fluid change at 40K and the 2 yr brake fluid change.
The 63 engine is a really trouble free item.

$376.84
Only reason I went for it is that I had a MBCA Loyalty card - so it was "free"
I'd just do the oil/filter change.
p.s. Service A on my 09 Pilot was $62.
