My Brother bought this special order S350 (V6) for $120k isn't expensive? Wonder how much will be if I order the same car in the US?

Last year I tried to special order a CL65 ,Majestic Black with Cognac interior.
No discounts ,offered to pay additional premium like for Designo, dealer tried very hard with Montvale ,all for nothing.
Got a letter from MBUSA offering a regular combo from the brochure ,nothing more.
I took my business elsewhere, any color combo and finish I wanted was accepted with no problem ,with car delivered as promised in 4 months.
Ended up with even better ride after all, since CCBs ar a must for me (3-4 times a week going to my warehouse at 4am on a completely empty highway,no cops anywhere, braking while coming on ramp from 180-190mph very frequent.SL65's brakes were toast after 3k miles)

Cars in US are some of cheapest in world, w/sub-inflation pricing (despite dollar deprec) over past 20+ yrs...new 65 is only $200K (vs ?$95K for a new ?300hp/lb-ft S500 some 20yrs ago)
absent, bigger issue in US is not brakes....do a lot of high-speed braking on 65 w/no issues; brakes are very car/situation-specific; ask guys w/997GT2s who've had premature brake exhaustion on PCCBs on track b/c of PSM and/or driving style...and are uncertain about PCCB response in CA winter fwy commuting in mere 50F rain

Risk of tire failure at high speeds vs potholes on US' crappy roads is a far greater risk to any high net worth commuter in a 65 or 997GT2 or 599HGTE or Scud (funny enough, most of guys in CA, even LA's Westside, who commute with $200K+ cars have <10mi commutes intra-city or intra-suburban and only get on certain fwys for fun on wkend AMs)
SF/LA urban fwys are much better than those of NYC/Chic/Dall/Hou but vastly more dangerous than ABs near Munich or Frankfurt (though I'd argue SF Peninsula's 280 is a better tq stress-test than anywhere on planet
For me, have no interest in cars that aren't iridium silver/blk/cf, so don't care for "unusual" combos even if avail in US as long as leather is fine-grained and nanotech paint and leather/alcantara/cf interior has high-quality fit/finish (which, in my expce, AMG easily supersedes any other mfr)

It's true that not all CCBs are created equal and the early ones in Porsches had issues ,especially when hard used during track events.
So far I have about 12k miles on them and they don't show any deterioration (again, they have to suffer heavy braking from circa 180mph to Zero on a fairly regular basis).
Btw,we had a couple Scuds at Mont Tremblant that had about 7k miles of exclusively track use by Ferrari pros and amateurs ,that needed only tire and pad replacements, rotors looked perfectly fresh.
On another note,I drive on LA's freeways quite often (4-5 visits a year) and their surfaces are a disaster ,unexcusable in a climate with no snow or subzero temperatures.
Now on to CCB's, so far I had no problems whatsoever with my PCCB's

braking is excellent in all situations... a very recommendable option.
...about interiors, my C is obviously not Designo but it has an Avantgarde only option color combo, exterior is Palladium and Avantgarde Beige

I believe this is not available in the USA either...
Its unfortunate that the prices are so high in your country, I think the big disparity in price is due to number of units sold in the US in comparison to your country. When I was stationed in Germany, I brought my US spec BMW 323i over with me and also purchased my US spec BMW 750Li while I was there. When I went and looked at the European spec models, they were seriously lacking in options, quality, and are considerably more expensive than the US the models sent to the US. I remember when the new S-Class first came out in 2005 at the Frankfurt Car Show, a base model was priced over 120K Euros (in Germany) over 30K dollars more than US models.
nonetheless it still carries some nice options and some color combos are specific to the Avantagrde designation only, which is nice too.
