Highway mpg?
Hi gang
I drove frm Florida to NC n I was getting 26 to 27 mpg! Is this normal for our car bc I was wondering if my flash update for tranny jerky helped or it's normal

That seems pretty good, because our 2010 S450 4Matic only get's like 10,8l/100km (21,7 MPG)

I can get 28+ on my s550 on the highway if I take it easy. Eurocharged tune helps allot. Had same on my s500 but was much easier to get there with 500 engine.

I filled up and went 300 miles and still had a hair over full...don't know what it calculates to but the highway milege is very impressive..

Drove 250 miles today in a bone stock 07 S550. 80MPH on cruise control, no hills. 26.7 per the cars computer.

Also in a bone stock 07 S550, drove from Orange, CA to SF, average 28.1 with a little more than a quarter tank left. Thats about 385 miles total distance with average speed of 80.

Just drove 400 miles in a brand new 550
I got 28 miles per gallon verying my speeds
The car only has 420 miles on it now

I cannot believe the numbers I am reading here! Thats unreal! Great MPG! Hell I get 28MPG in a tiny little C Class. Thats sad.

My biggest problem,every 300 Miles I need to stop at a gas station to drain some gas,it's just over floating

Best I got over this weekend was 26.1 mpg on a 60 miles trip but that's all highway including city for the trip I had 21mpg

2012 S350 Bluetec
Just filled mine up and calculated 31.5 with some city driving. 590 miles and still had 1/3 tank left. Take that, you Prius!

Yes but you have a S 350 Bluetec so the fuel economy should be better then that of a S550
