fog lights
i have 2007 s550 w amg pkg, p2.. how do i turn on the fog lights under my front bumper

He's referring to the headlight switch. Just pull it towards you. It has two clicks. With the first click turning on the front fog lights and second click turning on the rear fog light.

I try to pull knob but it doesn't feel like it wants to come towards me

No, this would be illegal too in most countries. Specifically the rear fog needs to go off automatically before a new ride. The driver would not necessarily notice the rear fog being on and it really irritates cars following (at night if it isn't foggy). The rules are the same for front fogs even if those are less critical for misuse.
