2013 S Class - Bluetooth Audio not available

2013 S Class - Bluetooth Audio not available
Hi,
So I had posted a thread couple of weeks back asking if I should go for S350 BlueTec or S550 and ultimately decided to pick up S350 BlueTec. Picked up the car couple of days back in Diamond White. Have owned last 2 generations of E Class and this is my first S Class. I am amazed to experience what really S Class is.
While going through settings, etc. I realized that it does not have Bluetooth audio streaming option. Is that true? Could you please help if it can be turned on. And yes, I did turn on the Bluetooth option and my phone is linked to the car but in the Audio menu dropdown I don't see Bluetooth as an option.
Do I need to buy an external bluetooth device and attached it to media interface cable. I am shocked that in 2013 bluetooth option is missing in S Class. In my 2010 E Class it was not available and using one of the threads I was able to turn it on by going into Engineering Mode and it worked. Is there anything similar that can be done with this car?

Although it's hard to imagine that my lowly W212 has BT audio and your vehicle doesn't the quick peek I just gave to the 2013 Comand manual seems to make mention of every type of music input *but* BT audio.I certainly could have overlooked it,however.

Bluetooth streaming does not come standard on S-class or CL-class but you can order the Media Interface Plus unit which will then allow you to have bluetooth streaming. You can order it from your parts department at your preferred dealership.

This is still my biggest problem with this car, I realize I have an '08 but I still can't believe this isn't incorporated in the new models yet. I am in a different rental car every week and it pisses me off I can easily sync and stream via BT in pretty much every pos rental but I can't in my S class!
As for the media interface thing, my dealership wanted $300 just to install it! That was an easy 'No thank you'.
