Looking to do the led headlight light conversion...looking at ebay..alot of them have broken tabs..why is this?

Are they housed off another s-class?

Since they are broken, can they be fixed, replaced with new tabs?

Because the car was most likely in an accident and the tabs broke, so insurance replaces the lights, and the owner of the car tries to make some free money or repair shop tries to sell the old lights. So the lights may only slightly used, or heavily used. One broken tab might not really hurt anything, but it could mean over big bumps that the lights could shake on the ground...

if all the tabs are broken there likely stolen. Ive seen this on quite a few facelifted cars, where the thieves literally pry the light out of the car snal all the clips and try to get whatever they can.

Really stolen lol what are you smoking man!! even if all the taps are broken the headlight is still bolted. Either way 99 percent of them are broken cause of what Jason said .

Ok I'm sure some are, your obviously not from Ny. Yes they snap they out. I've come across a few sets when the angel eyes came out on the 5 series bmws, xenon Maximas etc. they bent my hood and fender trying to steal mine. Most headlights don't make it after a collision. I also had a bag of headlights left on my lawn from Lexus's one lovely day, also with all the bolt tabs cracked off.

I have a set of headlights for sale. No broken tabs and headlight covers are perfect. The only thing wrong is there are a few L.E.D.'s not working on both headlights. Im sure if you buy a scrap headlight which I see for $200-$300 and exchange the L.E.D.

I would let these go for a really good price. Let me know.

True..well there is another tread that i started and i mentioned the price of getting them in china..we can use that price as a benchmark and you can decide if its worth getting
