P0607 Voltage supply of component Motor electronics / Battery voltage too low ADC

Has any one encountered this issue with Mercedes S550.

My car dies down on the road and then won't start for sometime, even for days and at other times will start right away. Had a mechanic run diagnostics and this error was found

P0607 Voltage supply of component Motor electronics / Battery voltage too low for ADC

Any suggestions will be very helpful.

Thanks.

Either the ECM is failing and needs to be replaced or check your battery/alternator

If the car dies while running. Could it still be battery or alternator? Although the battery is seven years old,the local AutoZone checked it out to be fine. Also when the car goes in no start state and the engine doesn't turn, the battery seems to work fine for extended period of trying to start it.

Maybe theres a bad connection somewhere. If not sounds a failing ECM

the code might be a side effect to a bad crank position sensor.

i would troubleshoot as follows:

1. check battery terminals (corrosion, tightness)
2. replace cps (cheap)
3. replace battery (more expensive, but at 7 years you are long overdue)
4. replace engine mgmt module ($$$$ and requires scn coding)

Who replaced the compressor?

Was the A/C system properly recharged and who recharged it?

Clear the codes again and post all the codes that will not delete.

What was the outcome of the fix? I have code P0607 along with a lot of 02 sensor codes and a 1337 code. I know it's an old thread but I'm hoping there was a solution.
