Transmission issue need help ...
Also, a total of 30 shop days for any combination of issues.
On the subject of a particular bad shift - did the dealer inspect the solenoids for debris on the screens? Also I assume the updated the tcu to latest revision.

Beanstandung:
Vehicle jerks during gearchange or has hard or slipping shifts. In some cases the torque converter lockup clutch (KuB) cannot be actuated.
The following fault codes may be stored in the transmission control unit:
2783, 0741, 0894, 0893, 0735, 0734, 0733, 0732, 0731, 0729, 0606, 076F

Affects veh. upto production date 10.01.2011
Ursache:
Torque converter lockup clutch (KuB) cannot be actuated due to a restricted filter in the KuB valve.
Other valve filters, e.g K1 control solenoid valve (Y3/8y2), may also be restricted with wear debris.
Note:
Only replace solenoid valves which can not be cleaned, up to a maximum of 4 solenoids
Abhilfe:
Removal of EHS and removal of all valves from the EHS to evaluate the contamination of the valve filters. Please ob serve AR27.19-P-021 2A.
Install repair filter A 221 277 00 00.
The filter is only valid for NAG2FE+ with OM 642 LS up to transmission sequence no. 3.154.598 and M278 up to transmission sequence no. 3.166.389.
Replacement of the torque converter is not necessary if this repair is
performed
Important:
It must always be ensured that the valves are installed correctly as each valve has a specific characteristic.
The transmission magnets must always be replaced
Finally re-adapt only the specific problem gearshifts.
Yeah sounds like it could be a dirty/bad solenoid

For your issue, it is unfortunate to have a transmission problem. I would suggest that the first thing you do is bring it in to either the dealer or a qualified independent for a diagnosis. You may be able to use the shift paddles to drive to the repair facility but you may do additional damage by continuing to drive it in its present condition.
Your car is nine years old and has no warranty. These cars are expensive to purchase, maintain and own. In some cases goodwill on much of the cost to repair is extended by the dealership you use. But you can't expect that, ask nicely, make your case, call Customer service.
From my reading of past similar issues, if you just paid to have this fixed, it runs something like $1200-$2000. You purchased the car new, now at nine years it requires a repair. If you let it go it will cost $6,000 for a new transmission.
