I'd like to thank the members of the Academy...so little time! Uh.. My agent Marty Brickleman at William Morris, a great supporting cast. I'd like to thank my fellow nominees, except Dave because he came in third. (Music starts) My lovely wife....

The Academy anticipated the show would be over by 11pm. It's now 3pm the next afternoon with no end in sight and Bill Cosby is stumbling around the theater with a drink in one hand, a prescription bottle in the other, and a box of pudding pops under his arm. I don't blame them for wanting it to be over. It's time to turn the channel.

It's like "Titanic". Longer than it needed to be and everyone already knows how it ends.
That's kind of a slam on "Titanic". Ok, I got it. It's like "Titanic" if it were written and directed by the guys that did "American Pie 4".

Car runs and rides smooth as new.
Motor oil was changed, spark plugs were changed. Changed alternator for new OEM. Cleared the drill holes on the rotors. Cleaned car inside/out(including that annoying scotch tape on the trunk and quarter panels. Fixed the cup holder mechanism.
Bought used OEM rear bumper sensors, rear bumper, rear reinforcement, prefacelift taillights.
Purchased multiple Mercedes specific tools including WIS(Which I'm still learning to use).
Swapped out leather steering wheel for matching wood grain. Bought a fridge for to keep Perrier.
Next on the list: Buy new trunk hinges $100, and get the car pulled and rear lip sorted so the trunk will close.

Have you taken a running tally of how much you've spent so far? And did you really buy a fridge for that car?

A guy is walking down the street in Las Vegas and sees a disheveled guy begging people for money outside a casino. "Please help me sir. My wife needs a kidney transplant or she'll die, and I don't have the money!"
The guy says "But how do I know that you won't take the money and go gambling with it?"
"Oh," the beggar says, "I have gambling money".
So basically there's all the money in the world on this project for "fun stuff" that brings instant gratification...wood steering wheel, fridge...but there's never enough money for something that's expensive, necessary but not fun, like a bunch of body and paint work.
Usually by the time a man is in his mid-30's he's got the self discipline necessary to forgo the fun stuff until the necessities are covered.

"Usually" is the key word in that sentence. If you're talking about people who hail from the Russia or the Eastern Bloc, you may need to add at least 20 years to that number.

Ouch, that's a broad sweep. Did you not take your meds today? Your getting off the rocker on that one. But if youth is in the mind then that's a compliment!
