Good luck with the fix. If the mallet doesn't do the trick, you can try something like this:

I called the truck driver yesterday and he was driving through Minneapolis. Said that he will be in Vancouver, Wa on Saturday as the last stop.
No key yet, title is still in the mail. The Auctionhouse will be closed Saturday so no forklift option. He said he will figure out a way. He is Russian, so I hope he wont ingenuitize anything on the level of the brutal repair boys.

Maybe you can chain the back of the car to a tree and have the driver just take off. Car comes off the trailer and maybe the dents all get pulled out at the same time.

Yeah, he's the kid who grew up on the wrong side of the tracks....and his parents got him a Big Wheel from a garage sale for Christmas with a broken rear wheel.
But it's nothing that a rubber mallet, duck tape, and some Superglue couldn't make as good as new.

The guy is on his way here. Since I do not have the key and the title wont arrive until Tuesday, we are stumped for how to get the car off the truck. The auctionhouse is closed until 8am Monday. They have a forklift that will be able to take it off. The comrade trucker is in Portland until Monday. This means that I wont have the car towed home until Monday morning! I might meet up with his Tomorrow to take a peep at it.
Anyone have any ideas to take it off the second story of the transport truck?(Besides Superpops)

lol! Kev, When Christmas rolled around I was anxious to see if any wheels were broken this year.

As for getting the car off the 2nd deck of the carrier? It's looking like another forklift job without any way to start the car.

Its 3 day shipping from Texas. $350 per key. I'm expecting the title to be in tues-wednesday. meaning key will be in on fri-sat next week if MB of Portland service center is open weekends.
Id hate to have to use another forklift, then tow it, but it seems inevitable.

I don't know why you wouldn't just release the parking brake and let the heap roll off the back of the truck? It will simply land on the already f*c*ed beyond belief rear end, chances of any incremental damage are close to zero....nothing a rubber mallet can't handle...

There's a tool to put it into neutral. Check owners manual. I don't know if it's still gonna be in that car's trunk though. It's usually together with the jack on top of the spare wheel.
