How about "Hi Fellas! I want an S Class so bad I bought a wrecked one to use in my yard as a planter!"
You don't need an S Class to hang with us. 99% of the goofy horse**** we discuss here has nothing to do with cars. Hell, I'm about to trade mine for a friggin' C Class. I'll still hang out here. The C Class guys aren't ready for me. Last time I was on there I had a little tiff with this mouthy blowhard over nothing. He ended up melting down so bad, he got his account suspended. Then he asked the admin to completely delete his user account. Then two weeks later he was back with a different username and I recognized his faggy writing style and popped him again.
It's probably better all around if I stay here.

So what then, you'd let the property management company get rich using your capital? Because if you're only on a cap rate of 8 to begin with, and they're taking 3 of your 8, and a note using up 4 more, you're doing what, putting all your money at risk for a 1% return?

Just looked at the pics. This would be an easy fix if none of the electronics in the trunk are damaged.
And you can make a lot of money buying from insurance auctions. A lot. Just not from the big three german manufacturers. But this particular Benz looks alright.

You have time to rebuild a totaled car, but you wouldn't have time to manage an investment worth tens of times as much?

Much in the way Benz55's DIY major structural unibody repair plan using vague references to friends with tools and a time he used a "cherry picker"... not an engine hoist, but a commercial truck with a bucket lift...to pull an engine when he was seven years old...sound crazy.

But I feel the market is not only going to see a big correction....it's going to crash MUCH worse than it did in 2008, 1987, and even 1929. And all of that money you're socking away in your non-matched 401k is going to be worth less than half of what you started putting in. IMO, you'd be better off sticking it into a fixed account for now, then re-enter the market after it gets down below 5k. Yes, I firmly believe it's heading lower than that.
