2007 s550 rear window don't work

2007 S550
I have a 2007 S550 and it started with my front passenger window stop working, then the left rear window, followed by the right rear window. My mechanic suggested that the module be changed. Now I only have the driver side window working and I'm worried it will stop working too.
Appreciate any suggestion on what might be the problem......

Try the obvious first, fuses, kinks in harness from door to body. Most likely you will have to take it to Mercedes and have them reset the window motor modulators. I had that done on one of my windows last year as it stopped working. Mercedes reset it and no problems ever since.

the car is methodically working towards entrapping you. once all four windows are inop, all of a sudden the central locking will malfunction and your days as a free man are over. you have been warned.
or... on a more serious note - reset of the door modules usually take care of this. while at it the pinch and hal sensors can be interrogated- they do go bad and when they do the module fails the window operation.
edit: as konigstiger mentioned there is also a module software update that can be applied if your car falls within certain vin range. the update prevents a crash in the module which renders it inop. a reset as i mentioned fixes it... until next crash which is usually very rare, but does happen. the update prevents the crashes altogether.

Is $350 reasonable for an independent mechanic to charge for module software update for 3 windows Took me awhile to handle this and finally did it and all 4 windows are good now, just not sure if the price he charged was reasonable.
