The Benz tan aka peanut butter interior, typical on many non-black W221's, is the ugliest in the Benz color bin and wears horribly IMO. There's a good reason you never saw it on an S600 or AMG. Nobody would ever buck up for one of those with that disgusting color.

I still think it's very bad. That a dark dark burgundy and it does not go at all.

It's not dark burgandy, it's dark red and looks fantastic with a white/silver car. White interior is ok when brand new but it wears horribly and looks cheap to me.

Wait, maybe it was my monitor, but it looked very burgundy and not red. Now, red I would LIKE.

I think it's the picture quality. I've seen that interior in cars in person, it's fantastic. I love red interiors though so i'm biased.

Aaah yes- in the business this is called "puke gut". The mb puke gut is only eclipsed by the BMW puke gut which manages to show minute color shades of a freshly produced spring diarrhea by a kindergarten aged kid.

Those guts are notoriously hard to sell.

I love it with the exception of the carbon fiber, which I think always looks tacky when used on interior trim. Piano black or burl wood would have been a better choice

As far as red interiors go I liked it. I've seen some hideous blood red interiors that are horrible.
