Go to a competent tire shop. Mercedes does not typically equip it cars with wheel locks so either somebody put a set on after the fact or the tire shop does not know what they are doing. If the wheels have locks and you do not have the key you will have to have the locks drilled out to remove the wheels. A good tire shop should be able to get the wheels off though.

The lugs probably have a chrome cap on them and requires a special socket that the shop you went to does not have. Using any other socket on them will ruin them by deforming the cap.

Doesn't work on the benz lugs, as they fill the hole in the wheel completely. We do have a master set at the dealer, so if they are MB locks, we can remove them without damaging the wheels.

You're sure the key isn't anywhere in the car? It's usually back there with the spare tire stuff.

The standard S class lugs, yes. But most cars have wheel locks added at the dealership now. We use a spline drive 17mm on those and it works great, doesn't jam on the lugs. Supposedly MB sells a specific socket for them, but a regular 17 works, just sticks on them if they are deformed at all.
