ABC Fluid Flush

I know this is a well discussed subject on the R230 forums, but the W221 chassis is a little different. I have posted this elsewhere with very little results, so I'll give it a go here.
The W221 with ABC has a completely different reservoir and return line which makes the flush more challenging. I have done some diligent research and about all I can find is that AGA makes a tool for this procedure, but I find it hard to believe that everyone has that tool, and I certainly can't find anyone near he who has that tool and I don't want to pay $140 for something that might only get used once.
So, has anyone performed this operation like the shop manual describes; disconnect the return line (at the bottom of the reservoir), direct it to a container, etc.....?
I would actually like to remove the reservoir and clean it before I perform the service because a lot of the nastiness is sitting at the bottom of it.
I'm sure it's never been done on mine, and it is way overdue. I don't want to invite problems with this system!

At least I found somebody who's actually done it!
Care to elaborate on what the biggest pain was?
Thanks for the reply.

Where are you located? The AGA shop is local to me so I bought the tool, haven't used it yet. I'd loan it out to someone in need. Maybe there's someone near you who would do the same.

And if someone in the area wanted to split the cost of it, I would be glad to do that.

Cleaning the mess really. Pulling the tank out, changing filter, removing lines is all cut and dry stuff. Using the AGA tool creates almost no mess to clean up. You could always stick the AGA tool in and suction out all the fluid with a fluid extractor then spray some parts cleaner in to clean it out. I've never had any kind of real sludge or residue in the bottom of the reservoir that warranted removal for deep cleaning.

Did you have any problem getting the power steering reservoir out of the way? I have been looking for the tab to release it and coming up empty! Other than that it looks pretty simple, and I can deal with messy.

If I recall correctly there is a locking tab on the bottom of where it clips in the bracket. Or just take the entire bracket off with it. I though I had a picture of one on my IG but just of the inside filter of the PS resevoir.

Thanks, but I figured it out. Just a dry run into what I'm up against. Just a lot of stuff in the way, including the windshield washer tank that I found out the hard way is two piece. I had to move it over to get to the reservoir and dislodged it from the lower tank. The next day I had a puddle of blue/green fluid on the floor below the reservoir. You can imagine where my mind went with that!
