Front turn signal bulb part #?
Having a hard time getting the spec for new bulbs for the front turn signals on my pre-facelift S600 (2007). Anyone know the bulb type/part? I'd like to swap in a high quality LED bulb

It'll need to be canbus enabled or else you'll have codes. Bulbs that don't have resistors are more for early model JDM or domestic. Euro has always required canbus resistors.

But I've seen bulbs that are "CANBUS compatible" that still required resistors to stop hyper flash

Yes, you'll need the proper flasher unit. Canbus is one component to remove errors.

It's not, the bulb is removable as part of the assembly socket. It's a 5200/PY24 bulb.
