Radiator drain plug petcock leaks
My car has the black coolant drain plug (as opposed to a red one) and it does not stop draining when i close it :'(
I think it may be partnumber A0009970733 but that does not show as compatible with w221 and i cannot find the part in the stupid (official) EPC.
Can this part be replaced or do i need to replace the whole radiator?

Dodge (Chrysler) plug is from the Daimler-Chrysler years and is exact match and fits perfectly.
I think it is the same plug in our S-class.

But you don't just pull it out. Turn 90 degrees, pull about 1/4", turn another 90 degrees and then pull it out.
It is the same plug for the part that mounts in and seals it. The flat handle part was a little longer if I remember correctly, which does not make any difference how the plug works.
It also was a bit cheaper at around $15 compared to few hundred dollares of the new radiator + installation.

I have an old craftsman floor jack that was leaking fluid at the plunger so took it apart to measure the o-ring to buy a new one and after i put it back it stopped leaking. While i had the o-ring off the plunger I coated it with silicone grease.
Not saying put it back and leave it. Remove it to measure then order a new plug.
My M272 radiator has that type of drain plug and the part# is 0009970224. Ive also come across 0009970024.
I got the A0009970733 from the Merc dealer and was able to pull the old one out (which was not easy, pulling and twisting it, stupid ABC line in the way)
and putting the new one in (that was easier, i put a little silicone spray on the rubber o-ring).
