New Recall
Not sure where to place this.......my serv rep told me that they are replacing some bolts relating to the power steering and it is a recall . Covered by mfg and extended warranties. The bolts apparently tend to rust out and could create a problem. I have a 2015 S550 4c

Can you list the specific TSB. I had a Steering Linkage fail that caused a groaning noise when moving the wheel. I had the Extended Warrantee through MB, part was not covered and they charged me $over $600- for repair.

If MB is only covering it under warranty or extended warranty, it would not show up under a recall in which MB would be obligated to fix cars even out of warranty.

Not a Recall but rather Service Campaign 2019080019:
2012-2017 C-Class, CLS-Class, E-Class, GL-Class, GLC-Class, GLE-Class, GLK-Class, GLS-Class, M-Class, S-Class (205, 218, 207, 212, 213, 166, 253, 292, 204, 217, 222) aluminum bolts of the steering gear housing cover and the aluminum bolts on the power steering rack may corrode over time this could lead to a separation of the power steering unit from the steering rack resulting in power steering failure. Dealer will replace the aluminum bolts and seal them, or replace the power steering rack if necessary. Have dealer check VMI to determine if your VIN is involved. Approximately 398,527 vehicles are affected.

It seems like this is an issue with all or at least most of the W222 cars. Assuming they won't call me since am out of the 50K miles original warranty and currently on the extended warranty only (powertrain only), should I try to call them and see if they can fix it for me too? How do these recalls or campaign work normally?

Recalls & Service Campaigns do not expire and are covered out of warranty/unlimited mileage at no cost.

I understand, but how can I get my car in if the online website shows no recalls for my car.... I heard that for certain things like these normally they don't update the online recakk system as it's not really a safety recall but more like a service campaign. What are your thoughts?

Not coming up @ https://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/recall because it is not a Recall but rather Service Campaign only way to confirm is to have dealer run VMI to see if your VIN is included.

Does that make sense? i thought since it's a manufacturing issue related to choosing wrong bolts material then ALL cars would have same type of issue. Anything I should worry about? I have bad experience believing costumer service over the phone as am not sure am talking to someone from home or an actual service advisor on site.... I wonder if they just checked the online recall website like I did myself... ?
