New 2020 S560 deals: What are you seeing?

Considering a new, loaded, 2020 S560 sedan. What sort of discounts and deals are we seeing out there? Anyone know of any specific MB incentives? Trunk money, etc.? Thanks!

Haven't heard that in the last seventy years but I admit I don't always pay attention.

It's manufacturer incentives they give to move a car- basically "a pile of money on the trunk".

Stream- I bought my car last summer so the numbers are meaningless but at the time I was just shy of $21k off sticker. I would say you should be between $15-20k off if it has been in stock for a bit.

What was the MSRP? Was it an ordered car or a car in dealer stock? Thanks.

It was an in stock car, MSRP was $115k. They had it over 60 days so you know the motivation was there now that it hit floorplan.

I'd wait till December.

I got an email offering $959 a month lease for an S450.

I've continued to find a surprising lack of motivation for dealers to sell me an S560, even ones that have been on the lot a long, long time.

To the point where I'm leaning towards keeping my LS460L

2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
I guess the dealers figure its gonna be a while before the new S class comes out and they don't want to get stuck with little inventory and figure as things get more scarce they will be able to get top dollar for what they have left on the lot.

Financed my black on black S560 from my favorite dealer today. MSRP was 121K. I got 20K off and put down 20K. Interest rate 0.99 percent from my credit union for 72 months.

Yeah CA dealers are way more willing to discount, and they have way more inventory

I saw on Youtube that generally dealers have very low inventory of new cars right now because Covid has disrupted supply chains and manufacturing. Even used car prices are very high right now.

****ty Socal dealer quoted me $1800/mo for a 36/7.5k $0 down lease -- $113k MSRP S560 RWD. When I asked for the cash price (email), they ignored me.

Not expecting to get a good deal until W223 arrives.

I think there are some (not all) dealers that are holding on to inventory and not giving anything away. Covid has impacted production and some larger market dealers have low inventory.

'20 E Wagon
I'm tempted by a coupe at my local dealer. 2019, $144 MSRP, showing as $119k on Autotrader. New on both. Red with Espresso. (Yeah, Merc....I might be as bad flipping cars as you.) Wondering if I could get close to an even swap on my 20 E63 Wagon. Unsure about the interior for me though.

Hey all. Long time lurker here and current BMW Individual 7 Series owner so I haven’t had much to weigh in.

However, I thought I’d help out considering W222 is currently in build out. I have a close contact at Fletcher Jones and was informed the car is in final stages of sales support in order to clear the decks for W223.

The dealer themselves have 12% of margin to play with with the vehicle including holdback + $11,000 of trunk money from MB. On top of that corporate fleet and loyalty are stackable, which could equate to another $1500 total.

10,000 mile 36 mo lease residual for S450 is 52% money factor of .00038 and for S560 is 46% money factor of .00036. You can still put down up to five security deposits to reduce the money factor down to .0001.

attached are some deal sheets he gave me but they don’t include loyalty or corporate fleet so you can likely do better.

Those are good deals. I couldn't get anything close to that here. Interesting how dealer to dealer can change.

If you purchase instead of lease, there’s an additional $6k of trunk money totaling $17k. The only issue now is finding the right car. I’m used to ordering!

How do you get Corporate Fleet discount? Thanks for the info about $6k trunk money for buying vs leasing. I have not heard of it before and certainly makes a good case to buy vs lease since the residuals are so crappy.

I believe you can have your sales person do a search in the database. For me, I have status with United, which gives me eligibility for MB Corporate Fleet discount.

However, for this potential purchase, I have a coupon from a Mercedes-Benz partner hotel that I recently stayed at in Carmel, which had cars on site for guests. The $1000 coupon cannot be combined with the corporate fleet $500 incentive.

A 52% lease residual on 10k miles 36 months isn’t too bad on the 6 cylinder... The deal to have may be on a loaded example of that. We priced out a $114k S450 with all available incentives under $1000 a month with $2k down + 5 MSDs. However, I’m having a hard time justifying not having a V8 in an S Class!
