Creaking driver's seatback

My drivers seatbelt has developed a very annoying creak. If I sit in the seat and rock back and forth at all, it makes a very audible creak. Also when driving you can hear it creaking all over the place.

Anybody recently had this problem? Will take it in to the dealer obviously...

Same issue here on MY2019

I have the same issue, super annoying. I have a service planned in next couple of weeks, I plan on mentioned and seeing how they can fix. Started a couple of months ago, but haven’t been driving much given COVID, so have pretty much tried to ignore it.

Thanks konig! Did you see my PM on another matter?

I don't think that's it though, this is definitely coming from the seat, even without my seatbelt buckled. Sounds internal, but looking at the video on YouTube where they tear into the seat I don't see what it could be, it must be in the structure of the seat itself.

Ultimately, they could just easily replace the seat...

Perfect! Thats exactly what it is

And on that wind noise one, that TSB is applicable to 2020 MY as well?

Should be applicable, no model year documented and remedy involves door adjustment.

Thanks! That perfectly describes my issue, and the weatherstripping at the top of the door does seem to stick out a little on the drivers side vs the passenger side which has no noise

Its at the dealer now. They swear they can't duplicate the seatback creak which I find impossible to believe, and they say the TSB isn't applicable because its from 2016 (I had a feeling they would say that). They say the same about the door TSB.

They're going to keep it over night and see if it creaks in the morning.

Pretty frustrated...

Got the salesman involved, and miraculously they heard the creak and ordered a replacement seat rail, it should be in next week. They also performed the wind noise TSB and lo and behold, its 2dB quieter at 70 MPH. Thanks for your help!
