19" to 18"

IF I was to downsize from 19" to 18" wheels, are they an offset or not- front to back? What would be the correct fitment sizes regarding width and offset per rim

Copy the offset of a MB 18" wheel that fits your car but to to be sure, test mount the wheel you like to determine adequate clearances are preserved.

A reputable wheel manufacturer could guide you as well.

If you were to downsize to 18s, I'll take those 19s off your hands ...

Just get the same exact wheel offset as 19", are you doing this for winter tires? 19" feel hardly adquate for this beast, 18" will look super small so unless your doing this for winter tires I would stick with 19". I wish I had 20" or 21" now that I have owned the car for a while but with real AMG 19" I am not switching

I’m trying to decide the best ride being in an area of bumpy streets and highways. I’m running 19” RunFlats currently. Should I just run normal tires on the 19’s or step down to 18’s or just keep lowering the psi on my current setup.

Your local established tire shop, who has been there done that, could help fill in some blanks. I would start there. Don't go to a rookie.

also take a look at this link.

Totally not worth you money to downgraded to 18", my area is pretty bad too but with S-Class Air ride I find it okay. i was looking at another car when i was shopping with 22"'s and didn't want that. If you go to regular tires it would be smoother for sure, but be ready in the odd case of a blow-out or flat as there are no spares in these cars
